Quincy is Quite the Fighter!

Quincey is an American Pitbull Terrier mix that we got from the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin 5 years ago. He was the only dog out of all the dogs in the room at the shelter that wasn’t jumping up at the kennel door and barking at us even though he was only 1 year old. He sat quietly and every time we looked at him his tail would wag. He has kept that temperament even after all this time. He is a very affectionate and loving dog and even likes cats. He has been through three training courses and his trainer said he could be a therapy dog since he is so good. He is a wonderful ambassador for his breed. His tail never stops wagging and when he got his initial diagnosis through the Elkhorn Vet Clinic during the ultrasound his tail was still wagging according to Dr. Kerousec.

I am a single working mother of two school-age children and simply cannot afford the cost of his treatment. Quincey is like my third child and the fact that I can’t pay for his treatment breaks my heart.
